Need Financial advice on first weeks, residence permit, banking, and part-time jobs as an Indian

I will be moving to Vienna from India around August 2026 as an international student and would appreciate some advice from people who have gone through the process recently.

I have a few questions about my first weeks in Vienna:

What is the best way to get from Vienna Airport to the city center? What transport options would you recommend and approximately how much do they cost?

How much cash or immediately accessible money should I have available for the first few weeks for groceries, SIM card, household items, transportation, and other initial setup expenses?

I may not have an Austrian bank account immediately after arrival. How can I pay university fees, rent, electricity deposits, or other required payments before my Austrian bank account is opened?

If transferring money from an Indian bank account, how many days does it usually take?

What fees should I expect during the first few weeks for:

Electricity setup/deposit

Meldezettel registration

Residence permit card collection

Any other mandatory registrations

After arriving in Vienna and completing my Meldezettel registration, how long does it typically take to receive the physical residence permit card?

How can a student find his first part-time job? What websites, supermarkets, restaurants, or student job portals would you recommend?

Is there anything you wish you had known before arriving in Vienna as a new international student?
