Ac problem
Hi everyone,
I have an AC issue with my 2018 Subaru Legacy 2.5.
The AC works fine at night, but when temperatures are high, the AC compressor shuts off. It may work while the car is warming up, but then it stops. It also works when driving at 40–50 mph, but if I stop at a red light, the compressor turns off. Sometimes the AC compressor cycles on and off repeatedly.
The car was involved in an accident, and the cooling fans were replaced with aftermarket units. The condenser is OEM and was not damaged. The fans appear to be working correctly and turn on as they should. As I mentioned, everything works fine at night and in cooler temperatures.
The AC compressor was also replaced, but that did not fix the issue. There are no codes that could potentially show the issue.
Any ideas on what could be causing this problem? Thanks!
