SJMSOM (IIT BOMBAY) V/S IIFT DELHI (IB)

How would you compare SJMSOM IIT Bombay and IIFT Delhi (MBA-IB) for my profile?

I have converted SJMSOM and am currently evaluating it against IIFT Delhi before making a final decision.

Profile:
• BBA graduate
• 9/7/7 academics
• Interested in Sales & Marketing and General Management roles

I’m looking for nuanced perspectives on factors such as:

• Brand value and long-term career impact
• Placements, role quality, and recruiter perception
• Alumni network and accessibility
• Peer group and learning environment
• Campus life and overall MBA experience
• Fit for a non-engineering candidate
• ROI and future career optionality

While placement reports provide one perspective, I’m especially interested in how both institutes compare in terms of long-term growth, opportunities, and the overall experience for someone with my background and career interests.

This isn’t meant to be a comparison post for the sake of it - I’m genuinely trying to make an informed choice and would really appreciate insights from current students, alumni, recruiters, or anyone who has evaluated both options.
