At my Breaking Point

I have loved Overcast for over 10 yrs - great app, minor issues. I don't know what it is over the past 3 or so months, but it is becoming almost unusable - to the point I have started listening on ... Spotify :(

What's the deal here? The episodes rarely download properly on schedule, if so they take so freaking long (it's not my phone or wifi) - the downloads constantly fail, or it will start cloud streaming and downloading simultaneously, only to stop doing both randomly.

Sometimes I close the app, erase the download, and start all over again - and that seems to help 50% of the time, but not this week at all.

It's really frustrating as I like supporting the smaller apps and have all my Subscribed pods and can also toggle to my once in a blue moon ones in a single place.. but if the core functionality of download/listen don't work, idk what to do.

Any one else have these issues/feedback? I'm on an iPhone, latest iOS (maybe 1 update pending)
