I really appreciate the offers to provide an ear to my problems etc but - like - I feel like you're not really hearing me.

This whole one-on-one interweb connection thing exacerbates the lonely factor. Nothing could be more sad and isolating than relying on internet buds you can't really spend time with. It's kind of a mind fuck.

But I appreciate everyone of you. Its so much more freeing and rewarding to interact in an open forum like this instead. Then there's no mistaking what it is and the intent behind it. There is no such thing as a quality stand in for real life friendship out in meatspace. Hope you can understand where I'm coming from.
