France Pack Review: The Highest Ceiling for Featured Cards | Mbappé | Dembélé | Deschamps
The 2026 France National Pack is already live on the international server, and it's expected to go live on the Chinese server during the World Cup. At 1500 coins on the international server, the value for money is very good. Below, I will analyze the key players in the pack and Deschamps—
I. Mbappé (5-0-10-8-11-3 + Agility)
The strength of this card can be compared to the Big Time Mbappé from 4 years ago. The new card has +5 Dribbling, -1 Speed/Acceleration compared to the BT Mbappé, and -8 Heading & Jump compared to the BT Mbappé. In the era of that BT Mbappé, the developers hadn't yet come up with the idea of amplifying weaknesses to create differentiation, so the BT Mbappé wasn't completely useless at heading.
However, since Mbappé is a ground-based player after all, the new Mbappé's +5 Dribbling brings an advantage in on-the-ball initial burst + on-the-ball top speed, making him slightly superior to the BT Mbappé (ignoring Fixed B Form).
Compared to the latest few Showtime Mbappé cards, this Mbappé mainly falls short in Kicking Power and physicality. In this version, where long-range shooting is strong, it's a bit of a struggle to execute the tactic of blasting powerful shots from the top of the box.
II. Dembélé (9-0-9-9-9-2 + Ball-carrying)
Compared to the Featured Mbappé above, one of this Featured Dembélé's advantages is that his lean, long-legged model feels better on the ball + his base three core dribbling stats are higher. Therefore, I would leverage Dembélé's on-the-ball advantage and boost his three core dribbling stats to the 95+ level.
When the Featured Mbappé loses the high Physical Contact of his Showtime cards, he gets outshined by Dembélé's perfect weak foot + great feel. I would consider this Dembélé to be the strongest player in this pack.
Speaking of which, our definition for a meta Featured card is: T0.5 tier. But this Dembélé is clearly T0 tier, which is why I say this pack represents the highest ceiling for Featured cards.
Additionally, the Kanté and Cherki in this pack are decent (I'll put their builds and stat panels at the end of this post), while Olise's model isn't very agile, and Tchouaméni is too slow.
III. Deschamps (Manager)
There are only 3 managers with an 89 rating who boost the Speed stat, and Deschamps is the only one who plays Long Ball Counter. He is also the only 89 rated Long Ball Counter manager who boosts either Speed or Acceleration. This is where he is better than Capello.
Based on the release rhythm for managers, an LBC 90 manager is still a whole cycle away, so this Deschamps is definitely worth the price.
