Hi, I’m ZA. I’ve been involved with a man, PM, on and off for the last five years. We had a major falling out in September and have only recently started rebuilding things and getting back on track.

He’s currently away on a trip with some mutual friends and a female friend from his city, MD. Over the last few months I’ve asked about her a few times, and he’s always reassured me that they’re just friends and that nothing is going on between them.

Today, a video was posted in our group chat and it appeared to show them holding hands. I don’t have the full context of what was happening, but seeing it really threw me. What upset me wasn’t necessarily the hand-holding itself, but that some of the interactions in the videos felt intimate and reminded me of things I had always thought were special between us.
