I wrote letters lately to my older teenager girls about sex, mostly just to open the communication with them so they hopefully feel more comfortable coming to me when they are ready to talk about it. I addressed that I am not encouraging it obviously but that if they get to the point they think they are ready to come to me and we would discuss birth control and other things to keep them safe. I also discussed masturebation and that it is natural and can be healthy for them. I even offered to get them a toy if they wanted one so that they don't use something that could be harmful to them or their reproductive parts. I know there are a lot of people especially in the Christian world who see masturbation as sin. So was I wrong for offering that? Is it wrong to offer a safer alternative to them possibly using something not meant for that, that could hurt them? What age did you get your first vibrator?
