Which marketing path to take for my business
Hello everyone,
I started a watch retail business a couple of months ago, and I'm trying to determine which type of social media content I should focus on to build trust and drive traffic to my website.
Right now, most of my content consists of static watch photos from different angles and backgrounds, along with a few carousel posts. These have mainly served as filler content while I work on developing a longer-term content strategy.
I've also recently partnered with a local production company to create professional photos and videos of the watches, so I'll have additional content to work with soon.
With that in mind, which type of content would you prioritize for a new watch retailer looking to build trust and gain traction?
- Educational videos (watch movements, terminology, maintenance, etc.)
- Behind-the-scenes content from photo and video production
- Hands-on reviews from customers or content creators
- Posts/Reels getting opinion from my viewers
- Something else entirely
I'd appreciate hearing what has worked for you or what you would focus on if you were starting from scratch.
