Singles

Hello I have recently gotten back into the hobby of collecting pokemon cards and I was wondering if it is better to get singles off of tcgplayer or eBay? I prefer to collect japanese cards and have noticed eBay seems to offer a lot more japanese cards and at better prices usually than tcgplayer. I also enjoy how eBay has pictures and I can see the cards where pics on tcgplayer are few and far between.
