Lower radiator hose

2016 Cadillac Escalade 6.2L

I replaced my lower radiator hose this evening. I ordered a Dorman from Rockauto. I usually have decent luck with Dorman. It has a molded outlet hose for the coolant reservoir instead of a T connector. It doesn't quite bend the same as the AC Delco, so there is a slight compression of the hose where the resevoir hose comes out because the new hose has to be twisted slighly to get it on the radiator.

We're supposed to go camping this weekend. Ordering from the local dealer is 3x the cost.

I haven't put coolant back in yet. I'm wondering if this will work itself out as the hose warms up from the coolant?

If not, I'll just put the original back in and replace it with an AC Delco next week.
