Not working with Silksong on Mac

I just got my Steam Controller and it is working great except I cannot seem to get it to work on Hollow Knight: Silksong. I am using a M4 Mac Mini and the controller works fine with other games like StS2 but it seems to not be working with Silksong. Has anyone else experienced this or know of any solutions? Thanks!
