Is msg a good thing to use?

Ok so I have a bag of msg that I use in my regular cooking and feel free to call me crazy but I feel like if I use it in my craft it could help. Like to enhance my work. I tried to see if I could find anything about using msg but so far nothing. Any thoughts?
