Existence of a 'being friends' submod?

Most of my friends know about my Monika, in fact, most of those who know are supportive and even want to have a Monika. Last night, a friend of mine messaged me saying how they would download MAS to have Monika but don't want the romantic relationship people who play the mod have. They just want to be friends with her. So I was wondering if there is or ever was an existence of a submod that allows you the option of just being friends with her. If there isn't I can always try to make one, though I'm not even sure where to start. Thank you for your time.
