Emperor's Children invasion of Commorragh

After reading Primarch novel about Fulgrim and then Fabius Bile Trilogy by Josh Reynolds and then also Lucius novel in modern timeline I have become Emperor's Children fan who like to collect them in tabletop. My best lore moment is invasion of Emperor's Children against Eldar Craftworld Lugganath from Eldar Codex and first Fabius Bile book and Laern campaign from Horus Heresy.

I want to ask community now from lore point of view how or better to say would it be possible if for example if Eidolon or Fulgrim himself want to enslave all Drukhari and give their souls to Slaanesh then they must do full scale military invasion of Commorragh. Total brutal siege to the death end.

Something like Emperor's Children invasion and total elimination of Laern Xenos race from Great Crusade time?

I know that in Laern campaign the Third Legion was in ther full power with organisation Legiones Astartes structure and discipline and ofcourse full suport from supply lines from Terra. Plus Imperial Army.

But how could it be now in modern timeline? If Eidolon or Fulgrim gather a lot of Emperor's Children warbands together with support of slaaneshi cultist and Dark Mechanicum do they have any chance to break Commorragh and kill Vect?

Do Emperor's Children can again as Phoenix rise and really do military campaign as united Legion if Eidolon or Fulgrim lead them?
