Track Visits, Signups & Sales in Telegram

The honest reason I built this: staying motivated. Side projects run on hype, and nothing kills momentum like shipping something and hearing silence.

I tried Umami, Amplitude and GA, they all are fine; but by the time I remembered to open the dashboard, the hype had already dropped. Finding out that 30 people visited my thing three days ago does nothing for me. Seeing it happen right now makes me want to keep building.

The only app I actually check 50 times a day is Telegram. So I built tgram-analytics: a small open-source tool that sends your app's events via a Telegram bot instead of a dashboard.

How it works:

  1. Drop in an SDK (JS/TS, Python, or Flutter — one project key works across all of them)
  2. Call track("signup") / track("purchase") / track("error") from your web app, backend, or mobile
  3. The bot pings you in real time ("New purchase: $29"), can alert you when traffic spikes ("50 people have visited your website"), sends a weekly digest with charts, and answers /report whenever you want the bigger picture

To be clear: it's analytics OF your app delivered VIA Telegram, not tool for analyzing Telegram channels. The name confuses people; I learned that the hard way from my Search Console data.

Stack: FastAPI server, SQLite or Postgres, MIT licensed. Self-host it with`docker compose up -d` and your own bot token, or there's a managed version where the first project is free so you don't have to run anything.

Very early (approximately zero users, besides myself lol) so I want honest feedback more than upvotes. Does anyone else lose interest in their projects when the feedback loop is slow, or is it just me?
