"Got into UET BSAI, worked my hardest first semester, still failed to hit 3.4 CGPA — now questioning everything. Transfer to an easier uni or push through? Need brutal advice."

I am student of BSAI 1 sem in uet Lahore main campus, I got admission in spring of 2026 because unluckily I got severe ear infections due to which I cannot get into unis in fall of 2025 ,my main goal was to get a cgpa of 3.4+ but in my very 1 sem I worked really hard to get to my desired goal but I failed miserably now I am rethinking my choice,if I can't get my desired gpa in 1 sem how am I going to get that in other semesters , "AS MY MAIN GOAL IS TO GO ABROAD FOR MASTERS FOR WHICH I NEED A HIGH CGPA" as I am an average student and I have that gpa only because I studied hard not because I was smart ,and I also thought of going to nust and fast and I gave this year net 2,3 and got the marks to get the admission but after what happened with me in uet I am not thinking of going there because my friends who are there told me if in uet you have to work that hard to get that gpa ,good luck getting that same gpa in nust or fast or any other big unis with being average,like they told it will be 10 times harder as compared to uet ,so what should i do now I am thinking of transferring to other unis where I can comfortably get my desired gpa in this fall ,any suggestions or advice from students or senior who are studying in these unis or have faced the same issue,and for the matter of skills I can learn them on my own from internet as this is the case in almost every uni in Pak ,so that when I graduate I have enough skills of my field to get a good job ,so pls guide me and help me I will be very thankful to anyone for their advice and suggestions
