One card setup help!! How do you manage it!!

For the people who want to run a one card set up how do you do it?

How do you do it without over spending and making sure the payments that you’re making aren’t just going to overlap your spend on bills, utilities ect…..

It seems hard to ensure things are overlapped , might just be me being new to this.
