Insect Glaive question

I see people on this sub saying getting the extracts is so much easier in Wilds than worlds. I’m in IG main and I’ve not really noticed much difference, which makes me think I’m missing something. Is there some new mechanic I’m missing? Obviously I know attacking in focus mode gets the extracts now too but this doesn’t seem to make a huge difference for me
