What's a better alternative to Samsung U8000 TV in UK?
Hi all.
My dad wants a new TV for the living room, will never watch in the dark. we agreed on 75". He's not a TV buff. He just watches sports (soccer) via a box.
We are in the UK and I told him it would be at least £800 for a decent one. I have an OLED and I also have a QLED and I absolutely HATE the motion processing my TVs (LG and Samsung respectively) have so I wanted to look out for him.
We went to Costco so I could have him see what he fancied. He saw an 85" Samsung UE85U8000FKXXU for £779 including VAT and it's like couldn't see anything else.
I know this isn't a great TV, but is it really so bad? What's a better option at an equivalent price?
If it's such a bad TV, why shouldn't he just buy the 85" AIWA tv from RS for £600?
Thanks for any input!
