How to save Pixai

Ideas/Request

You may hate me for this, but I need to tell you the truth. Feature-wise, the site sits awkwardly between casual and professional. Taken as they are, neither of the options is very appealing: casual simply produces stock material, very samey (mainstream models, mio); professional takes an ungodly amount of resources to master, and sits unused for most users.

If you don't add a more logical flow for the casual to access the latter's possibilities (like a palette of styles, with reference images in the hundreds), someone else in the near future eventually will. 99% of the users are using 1% of the site's capabilities, so to speak. Since they want the ChatGPT experience, not Photoshop's, they will totally believe that an inferior competitor is actually able to do more if it's more accessible to them (and gets them to 10%).

My suggestions are:

  1. The aforementioned palette of reference images;
  2. Adding a small real-time preview window (like 240x240);
  3. Charging for image creation when the task starts, allowing the user to tweak the project through the real-time preview until ready;
  4. Mio shouldn't be its own thing, but integrated in the standard creation process. With a slider for stubborness.
