Any MTech Student here?

I'm getting signal processing Mtech spec in NIT Allahabad...I've checked the syllabus and I think it is possible for me to create a VLSI profile...I also have admission offer from bits pilani in embedded system.... If any mtech student is here...can he guide me ?? how are the placements...are professors friendly?? seniors on linkedIN don't even reply even after they see the message.
