Title: Which CBSE roll number should I enter in IGNOU admission form after passing compartment?

I am applying for IGNOU admission and need some guidance.

I appeared for CBSE Class 12 in 2025 and got a compartment in one subject. I reappeared and finally passed the compartment exam in February 2026.

Now I have:

A 2025 Class 12 marksheet with all subjects and the result showing compartment.

A 2026 compartment marksheet with a different roll number, showing that I passed the compartment subject.

I have not yet received the consolidated/final combined marksheet from CBSE.

In the IGNOU admission form, Roll Number, Year of Passing, and Percentage are asked separately.

Should I enter:

The 2025 main exam roll number, or

The 2026 compartment exam roll number?

Has anyone faced a similar situation while applying to IGNOU or another university? What roll number did you use, and was there any issue during document verification?

Any help would be appreciated.
