Which of this hotel is better to stay for travel?

Hi,
I am travelling with my family of 4(all adults) to Singapore for first time. We are contemplating if we should book V Lavender Hotel or Hotel Boss.

Priorities:

1. Area should be safe
2. Good public transport connectivity since parents are senior citizens with health issues
3. No love hotel
4. No last minute cancellations

We are open to other suggestions as well below 300 SGD per night.
