What is going on?

This year I found myself in a new friend group of 6 ,but ,honestly, we’re more 5 (we’re all in different grades) and in that group there’s this guy who I caught feelings for and I don’t know if the feeling’s mutual.

For about 3 months , We’ve been glazing each other and when I flirted with him at a party he flirted right back, and we also had this playful banter going on since the same party. And when we got back to classes he made a point to hug me right in the doorway of my classroom where the teacher and our group . Also we all hug goodbye every day and one time he accidentally hit someone and apologized profusely for about a minute while holding me before giving me a final squeeze as he left. And one time while waiting in the courtyard for the others he came up and said hi to my friend F before hugging her and then immediately asking where I was (someone was blocking his view of me) and completely ignoring what she was saying till she said I was right there. And one time I held the door for everyone while holding the door while saying “Ladies first” and he made it a point to be the last to tell me “nuh uh” and playful shove me inside while holding the door.

Honestly, I don’t know if he feels the same. And I don’t know if I should make a move since he’s moving away from college in another state and I don’t know if I can do a long distance relationship. But also one of my least thrust worthy friends told me he supposedly liked a guy?? And I don’t know if I should believe them.
