Pressure from contacts

Hi everyone,

I’ve tried both Biomedics and Air Optix contact lenses, and with both of them I feel pressure in my eyes and head. Other than that, I don’t have any other symptoms, and I don’t have astigmatism.

I recently had my prescription checked and changed from -2.50 to -2.75 as prescribed, so now my contact lens prescription matches my glasses prescription. However, even with the new prescription, I still experience pressure in my eyes and head.

If it’s not the prescription, not astigmatism, and probably not the base curve, what else could be causing it? I’ve also tried using artificial tears, but they don’t make any difference.

It doesn’t make sense to me that, with so many contact lens options available, none of them would work for me. What should I have checked? If it’s dry eyes, what can be done about it?

The pressure starts after I’ve been wearing the lenses for a while, not immediately.
