Email I sent to get an account unbanned
I use vinted a lot, was telling a friend about it and how easy it is etc. Offered to help her sign up as shes a bit tech shy so went ahead and set up her details on my account. I don't ever remember logging on to vinted on my computer but it immediately flagged her account as suspicious and banned it. I appealed the ban using the internal appeals systems and received a permanent ban on that account. There wasn't even a way to delete the account.
I sent the following email from my friends email to privacysupport@vinted.com
Subject: Subject Access Request
"Dear Sir/Madam,
I signed up for vinted and then had my account permanently banned before I could even browse. There isn't even a way that I can ask for my data to be deleted.
I would like a copy of all data related to my account and details what "fraud" is suspected, including a copy of all accounts that are believed to be connected to this account.
I look forward to hearing from you promptly,

Username:"
It took about 6 days to get an email saying that they'd removed the restrictions. No apology. I will be very interested if they do respond to the subject access request and if they don't I will happily make a complaint to the DPC wherever their European HQ is located.
Hopefully thats helpful for anyone else who received a ban
