want to say thank you to everyone who’s let me into their home

small painting and decorating business in Dublin

And I’ve been thinking lately about how much trust that actually takes letting a tradesman into your space. You don’t always know who you’re getting. So when someone chooses me and then keeps choosing me or tells a neighbour that means something real

I’m not trying to reinvent anything. The knowledge is already there in this trade. I just want to take it seriously. Proper prep. Real health and safety not just the paperwork version. Materials that actually suit the job. Showing up the same way every day of a project.

The industry has a reputation problem in some places. I’m aware of that. My answer to it isn’t to talk about it it’s just to do the work properly and let that speak.
So yeah. To anyone who gave me the opportunity cheers. You’ve helped build something I’m proud of.
