Writing my first fic, advice?

Hello, I am writing my first fanfic (supernatural and marvel crossover), and I am wondering the best etiquette for when im ready to release it. I’m only 16 pages in on my Google doc, which is around 3 chapters in and I know what it’s like to start a fanfic to find it unfinished. So I figured I should try to aim for what, like 7-10 chapters before uploading? Or should I try to finish the entire fic if I can? I apologize for awkwardly questions, I’ve only ever posted on wattpad back in 2019, so it’s been a long time. To go along with this, are there any big social faux pas to be aware of when uploading a fanfic? Thanks in advance!
