First Kirby Game

Never played a Kirby platformer game before and Kirby is my favorite character to play in Smash Bros. Which game should be my first Kirby platformer? I have access to most of the Nintendo platforms (NES through Switch, Gameboy through 3DS, but no N64 or GameCube, unless the games are available in the Nintendo Switch online store).
