Does working at a bank in the corporate world get better?

Advice

I’m 4 almost 5 months into working for a bank, in marketing. I’ve come from a global tech platform. I’ve never worked harder, (and took a pay cut to try achieve short term pain for long term gain). I’m finding managing stakeholders tricky, dealing with internal demands, consuming. No task is straight forward. So many barriers to just getting the job done. I’m feeling like I’ve made the wrong choice in my career. I’d love to hear from anyone that’s made a jump like this and if it gets better in time.

I left my old job, as tech platforms are great but job security is low and not many opportunities beyond what I did. I’m not in the US, in a smaller country so much less scale.
