Is it better to start a new channel or use old one ?

I currently have an old YouTube account which is my daily account that is over 15 years old. I use to post content on here a long time ago, last post was 8 years ago and oldest video is from 15 years ago. It was a small channel that I didn’t really take serious, currently have 239 subscribers from what I used to do’s

I used to document/ post my dreadlock hair growth journey.
I used to get like a couple hundred views up to 5.5k views.

I’m thinking to archive all those videos and kinda start fresh with new content as if it was a new channel. Now I want to document my life in general and post completely new stuff.

Would I be better off starting a new channel or keeping my channel, archiving all the videos and appearing as a new channel ? Any benefits to starting as a fresh channel with 0 subscribers?
