How to cope with rejection due to size.
What do you think it does to a person's self confidence to have the following pattern?
-
Interest expressed on a website or app: "you seem interesting, I like your profile, how are you"? etc.
-
Sexual/romantic interest expressed: "you're handsome, you're very cute" etc.
-
Escalation to more pics - dick pic requested
-
Dick pic sent: immediately blocked, or radio silence/ghosted
It's almost like a controlled experiment. Everything's good, then dick pic sent ---> everything ends abruptly.
This is often my experience. Things go well, then dick pic is sent, things end.
My penis is average or even slightly above average in length, but very below average in girth, around the 7th-10th percentile in girth. It's extremely thin. Basically a classic "pencil dick" or worse.
This makes me avoid sex, avoid meeting people, avoid pursuing dates. Even when things start promising because they like me or like my face, I'm afraid that the dick will be a dealbreaker, so I just don't bother even starting the conversation.
I know versions of this question have been asked a million times before, but it's plaguing me. Even though I'm almost 40 (39), I still have not come to terms with it. It makes me feel extremely undesirable, and it makes me feel like my fate is totally determined by something I have absolutely no control over. It also makes me think that there are many opportunities for a romantic life that I have lost simply due to this one variable.
Is size so important that it can completely define attraction for so many people? For those of you with this problem (in the bottom 10%), how have you not let it get it to you, or do you just have to accept the hierarchy and that it really will cost you romantic and sexual opportunities for life?
