Job Scam?
I will try to have this make the most sense while still keeping everything completely anonymous.
I applied to an office here in Kalamazoo and had my initial phone-interview today. The person leading my interview is out of Chicago and scheduling for all of their offices. (Think big corporate) This isn’t uncommon in my experience with the corporate world as places will have specialized recruitment staff.
However, two hours after my phone interview I was left a follow-up message regarding offer details and a potential start date.
The kicker is, I haven’t even completed my in-person interview or stepped foot in the office.
Could this just be an error on the recruitment part? Or red flag about the corporation? Maybe I just KILLED the interview and they have no other notes. But they’ve never even met me!
I wonder if I’m being confused with another candidate.
I checked Google reviews of this spot and everyone seems to rave about their office experience and even one review complaining that the staff were too talkative (as a yapper, I almost appreciate this)
How should I proceed?
