Help

Hey I've been very passionate about wildlife conservation for as long as I can remember. Im turning 21 very soon and I would like to finally pursue that career now that I have the time, im wondering what the first step to it would be? I've tried Google, but it gets pretty confusing. I just don't know where to start and it's bringing me down a little.(im in Missouri right now btw)
