Why do fans get violent after their team win?

PSG won the UCL and their fans rioted in Paris causing casualties and damage. Knicks' fans behavior after winning Game 4 (and 1, and 2) is everywhere. I understand celebrating after a win, or even rioting after a loss (not that I condemn it), but violence after a win just seems weird. I'm a fan of Liverpool Football Club. When we win big trophies, we celebrate, but there's no violence involved.
