Traveling with three kids

We are first time traveling with three kids ages 6-9. We are flying to Florida. Once we are there we are renting a car and staying at a resort. Does anyone have tips for this trip it’s 4 days 3 nights. I’d love trips about airports and kids and how to best pack without checking a bag. Never traveled with them on an airplane before. Flights about 3 hours.
