One thing we've been hearing more about lately is the increasing cost of aluminum commercial vacuum wands.

For years, aluminum S-wands have been the standard in commercial cleaning, but rising material costs have many distributors and facility maintenance teams looking for alternatives that don't sacrifice performance.

Over the past year, we've been testing and supplying steel-underbody commercial wands as an alternative. One thing that surprised many users was how small the weight difference actually is—less than 8 ounces compared to many aluminum designs.

We also incorporated a reverse-roll lower wand design into our two-piece S-wand to help reduce the wobble that often develops around the locking pin connection over time.
