As a guy who makes sketches on the paper and passes to digital, Could someone tell me how i add more characters into a canvas?

I was thinking on making one Character on a paper, and the other in the other paper, than putting them together when i pass to digital, but this plan Only works If the 2 characters are not interacting physically, like having sex, so i don't know what i should do. I know that the most common answear will be for me to learn how to draw digitally but this is out of my reach, because im not Giving more days, weeks, months or Maybe years to get good on drawing on the tablet.
