Reiner slipping up

I am on my (i think) 8th rewatch (i finally convinced my sister to give it a chance & she’s hooked).

I am on season 2, mReiner is just about to spill his guts. But just before that, he is talking to Armin & Eren about it being his second run in with death etc

He then mentions “Annie almost crushed me”.

Have I gone completely mad? I was pretty sure at this point that officially, Reiner wouldn’t know the female titan was Annie? (That is why Hange asks them to specifically not raise the subject of her in front of them).

I have never noticed that details before but I guess it just adds to the pile of evidence he was slipping hard. Every single time I rewatch this show I notice details I didn’t before & I am always astounded at how 🤣
