Question about clearance and debt

Hey everyone. I wanted to ask a few questions about my clearance likelihood based on some information I am providing.

First off, I was arrested at 16 for underaged drinking but it was expunged (still plan on bringing it up). I don’t use any recreational drugs, but have tried marijuana in my past. In fact, I don’t drink much without even getting damn acid reflux. Pretty squeaky clean these days except for an occasional cigar.

Here is my real problem. I have close to 100k in total debt. It’s a mix between my car, a lot of student loans, maxed out credit cards, and some emergency loans here and there. In the past I have had some late payments but every account I have is current. No collections either. I provide for my wife who went through unpaid medical leave followed by unpaid maternity leave, and then only worked part time to finish her masters degree. Now that she has graduated she must work some unpaid hours to get her certification in her career field.

This new job pays significantly more for me, and would help me tackle this debt in a way I have never been able to. Long story short, I really need this new job but have to get clearance first.
