Vancouver waitlist vs. Virtual campus - ISO advice from recent grads!

I have not yet applied to the program but recently attended an info session for the Masters of Counselling Psych, Vancouver campus. The advisors mentioned the earliest start date would be January 2028 for the full-time cohort due to waitlist numbers.

I'm finding this wait unexpectedly long and would ideally like to start ASAP. I'm wondering if anyone from Vancouver had the same issue and went with the full-time virtual campus? One of the downsides with virtual is that it's not eligible for BC student aid.

I would love to hear the pros and cons of each program and BC grads experiences with finding a practicum, steady work after grad and the overall quality of their education! If anyone from BC did the virtual campus program, how was your experience and do you regret it?

The program seems inviting but it's worrying to hear so many students hearing long waits from admissions and unclear responses. It doesn't help with the "degree mill" rep.
