Google's AI thought my startup was a 25-year-old Canadian security company. So I built a tool to fix AI visibility.

Startup help

When I launched, searching my own brand name in Google's AI Overview returned a completely different, decades-old company with the same name. AI didn't just rank me low — it had no idea I existed.

That sent me down a rabbit hole. Buyers are increasingly asking ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews "what's the best [X] to buy?" instead of Googling and clicking through links. Whoever AI names wins; everyone else is invisible — and you can't even tell you lost, because there's no ranking to check.

Existing SEO tools track Google rankings, not whether AI recommends you. So I built Pallix to do exactly that.

You drop in a domain and it:

  • runs real buyer questions across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews
  • shows whether the brand appears, and which competitors AI names instead
  • pulls the actual sources AI cited to build that answer — this is the useful part, it tells you why
  • gives a prioritised list of what to fix

A basic audit is free, no signup. I built it India-first (it handles Hinglish prompts and Indian sources), but it works for any brand.

It's still early and I'd genuinely value feedback — especially what's confusing, or what you'd want it to show that it doesn't. Happy to run an audit on your domain in the comments and share what comes back.
