I have mid grades in grade 11

So basically I’m a grade 11 and I am asking if any grade 12s had bad grades in grade 11 but still got into a good program like Ivey, schulich or any good program if they got better grades in grade 12. My math I gonna be 85, and bio is 86. Last year I had nothing below a 90. If I get a 95 average next year even though my average is like 87 right now will it penalize me? I plan on taking English and ad func in the summer too. Also if I really don’t focus in ad func will I know what I’m doing in calculus and data management. Thank you.
