Made a listing mistake for the first time in 17 years, canceled an order and got negative feedback. Thoughts? Should I respond?

Question

I've been buying and selling on eBay for over 17 years without a single infraction or negative feedback. Today I listed an item for $250 that was SUPPOSED to be $2,500. Yeah... Well needless to say someone bought it within literally 1 minute after posting it. I didn't even have time to revise the listing. It was obviously mispriced since every other listing for this type of item is $3,000+

I messaged them to explain and apologize for the mistake and cancel the order. The seller immediately left me a nasty feedback about how I'm a dishonest seller and don't honor my listing price, etc etc. Sorry but I'm not willing to eat a $2,000 loss for a simple typo.

Now I'm just kind of shocked at all of this happening within the span of about 10 minutes. Should I respond to the feedback? Would it help me in any way? Or should I just let it go? What do I make of this besides double check the listing....I've been doing this for 17 years, anyone is bound to make a mistake eventually.
