Internal hemorrhoid gone ??

I've had chronic diarrhea for 6-8 months. Developed internal hemorrhoid from the chronic diarrhea, my GI doc prescribed a new med to control the diarrhea and it WORKED !! Diarrhea disappeared and so has the hemorrhoid...is this possibly long term ??
