The 4 Temperaments and zodiac signs. Is yours true?

While people are more than their sun signs, I’m curious to know how many in here have a temperament (personality type) that aligns with your sun sign? Mine is way off!

Elements and signs:

• Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius — energetic, bold, passionate
• Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn — practical, grounded, reliable
• Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius — social, intellectual, communicative
• Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces — emotional, intuitive, sensitive

Loose temperament pairings some pop-astrology sources use:
• Choleric (driven, dominant, quick-tempered) ↔ Fire signs
• Sanguine (outgoing, talkative, optimistic) ↔ Air signs
• Melancholic (thoughtful, deep, prone to moodiness) ↔ Water signs
• Phlegmatic (calm, steady, easygoing) ↔ Earth signs

These mappings aren’t from any rigorous system—different astrologers and bloggers categorize differently, and there’s no empirical research validating either the zodiac-trait link or this specific temperament overlay. Treat it as a fun framework rather than a diagnostic one.
