Just a question I've been curious about

I've been using duolingo since 2024 up to now to try and learn Japanese, although while I'm glad I'm trying to get better it's at the part where I have to speak a certain word or thing thats shown when the flashcards are shown, sometimes I forget how to say the word but sometimes when I try to it doesn't seem to think I got it right, for example a flash card shows the word en (ye) I've tried that but it's like it's not picking up the pronunciation or maybe I'm doing it wrong? Is there anyone learning the Japanese course? If so how is the word yen actually pronounce when it comes to the flashcards and you have to speak into the mic the answer? And does duolingo have a course where you learn to sing certain songs in the language you're learning? I'm just curious on that as well.
