What’s one hygiene habit you didn’t realize you were doing wrong for years?
It’s funny how you can go years doing something the normal way and then randomly find out there’s a better way you never knew about.
For me, hygiene has had a few of those moments like realizing I wasn’t brushing long enough, or thinking rinsing quickly after soap was enough, or even not paying attention to small things like toothbrush heads, pillowcases, or how often I actually deep clean certain spots.
And every time I learn something new, I end up thinking… “wait, so I’ve been doing it like this all along?”
So I’m curious about other people’s experiences:
• What’s one hygiene habit you found out you were doing wrong for years?
• Did someone teach you, or did you just figure it out yourself?
• What’s something simple that made a big difference once you changed it?
• Are there any hygiene habits you still feel unsure about doing the right way?
It’s interesting how hygiene isn’t always obvious until someone points it out or you experience the difference yourself.
Would love to hear what surprised you the most.
