Light Weilder - should I?

I read Metal Slinger in late April or early May I think. I remember enjoying it as I was reading it, but once I finished, that dumb ending was all I thought about. I barely remember the rest of the damn story.

For those of you who don't know, >!essentially the entire book is first person POV inside the FMC's head but at the end we find out that somehow she's been lying to us, the readers, and hiding things from us. But we're literally in her mind, reading her thoughts. So how could that possibly be??!<

I put a spoiler tag on that because I know some people are sensitive, but it's more a literary/writing style type of spoiler than a plot spoiler. I don't give any plot specifics.

Anyway, that ending, coupled with LW apparently starting 4 years later has me feeling ambivalent about reading it.

I don't want spoilers, but can someone tell me if LW makes that twist at the end of MS make sense? Is it good? Should I continue? I feel like I'd need to reread MS first tho because like I said, I barely remember the story past the twist ending.
